Our Mission

Adventuneer encourages everyone, especially parents with children, to get outdoors and participate in healthy activities. By giving you the tools to explore, we hope to weave the Spirit of Outdoor Adventure into your lifestyle, and of your children. This lifestyle – healthy mind, body and spirit – can be achieved through exercise, adventure and exposure to the beauty of nature found in God's great outdoors. Our success is measured not only by helping you attain this lifestyle, but whether you pass this lifestyle on to your children – our future generation. Each of you have the ability to reverse the trends of fractured families, neglected children, lethargy and obesity - all contributing factors to the detriment of our society. Furthermore, this lifestyle change will positively impact your family as a whole, bringing you closer together through shared experiences and focused quality time that will reward you with lifelong memories.

So whether it's hiking, backpacking, camping, biking, rafting, climbing or any of the dozens of Adventuneering activities you choose, we will be here to help inspire you to take the next step.

Adventuneering.
Get it.
Live it!

Our family tries to get out as often as possible, but with two young boyz the schedule can be tight. Between soccer, baseball, basketball, Boy Scouts...well, you get the idea. On the other hand, the boyz are one of the reasons we go camping, hiking, biking and... We truly enjoy the quality time we have with them (which, contrary to popular opinion, often comes from quantity time). If you have children, please engage them at all levels of the Adventuneering experience - there are so many learning opportunities. Take advantage of the long drives too. While challenging at times, the drives are a perfect opportunity to talk with your child in-depth about things that otherwise won't fit into your hectic schedule.

We currently camp in our Jayco Jay Flight 27 BH travel trailer (an upgrade from our Coleman Shenandoah tent trailer) and pull it with our 2001 Ford F150 SuperCrew (an upgrade from our Isuzu Trooper). We've even camped out of the trunk of a Mazda Miata (a small 2 seat convertible), but that was long before the arrival of the boyz (of course!). Our children thoroughly enjoy camping & hiking (especially geocaching), and I hope they pass this love of the great outdoors to their children some day, as my parents did for me.

You'll find that our web site has a decidedly Southwestern perspective, since this is our home base. As we venture out, we will be sure to include the "Best of the West" here. Give us a honk if you happen to see us on the road!

Thank you for visiting Adventuneer, we hope you will return again soon.

Roger, Juanita, Preston and Brandon
