| The Great Western Bicycle Rally |
The Great Western Bicycle Rally provides a getaway bicycling weekend like no other. Each Memorial Day Weekend, the little community we like to call Bicycletown, USA magically springs to life as cyclists from all over the West gather at the fairgrounds in Paso Robles, California for the annual Great Western Bicycle Rally. The headquarters building becomes our city hall, various vendors attending the Rally become our shops and the many participants visiting or camping on the fairgrounds become our residents. In 2005 12 year old Alana Michels was elected Mayor of Bicycletown and will preside over the Rally in 2006. For three days, Bicycletown residents forget the real world as they cycle through the beautiful central California countryside, engage in friendly competitions and spend the evenings socializing with other cyclists. Join us for the cycling time of your life. Maybe YOU will be elected Mayor of BicycleTown for next year's Rally.

| Julian Bicycle Festival |
Come join us for our ever popular Spring rides for both road and mountain bicyclists. We are doing the festival over 2 days this year so if you choose you can do both rides!
On Saturday May 6th we offer our 56 mile road course which is a classic course for the experienced cyclist. This incredibly scenic loop goes through Cuyamaca Park then to Pine Valley before you begin your 11 mile 2300 foot climb to the top of Mount Laguna. The first rider to the top wins our King of the Mountain award. Your final 20 miles back to Julian is a mostly downhill blast where you will be greeted back with Julian Pie and Ice Cream along with refreshments. Distance 56 miles with 5000 feet of elevation gain.
On Sunday May 7th we offer our Mountain Bike ride on our ever popular 22 MTB classic course which starts in Julian and heads out towards Cuyamaca before it descends down to the tiny town of Banner. From there you have a 1300 foot 3 mile climb back up to Julian where you will be greeted back with Julian Pie and Ice Cream along with refreshments. There should be plenty of wildflowers and spring greenery. Later all cyclists are invited to try their legs and lungs on our infamous hillclimb challenge course for fun and awards in several different classes. Total distance 22 miles, with 2200 feet of elevation gain.

A party will be held on Saturday night at Oddfellows Hall. A tasty Mexican dinner will be available. All boaters, spectators and anyone else who would like to attend are welcome.
